Remembering An Icon

Legendary actress, beauty and jewelry maven Elizabeth Taylor passed away this morning at the age of 79. In 2002, her coffee table book My Love Affair With Jewelry showcased her vast collection of beautiful gems.

In 2007 Taylor said "the important thing to know about jewelry is that you never really own it; you’re simply a custodian of beautiful things. Jewelry is something that strikes a chord in you, or it doesn’t. But that chord can set you all a-quiver.”
We couldn't agree more. Ms. Taylor, we'll always remember your legacy!

Remembering The Fabulous,
Carole

I just wanted to say how much I admire you and your collection...if you have time could you drop by my humble abode [blog] and give me an opinion as to if I have any chance at all with my musings on the history of jewelry
Cheers from Aussie... Stella
