Each year I pull out my collection of Valentine's day cards to remind me of both the beauty and the days gone by. The card above is one my favourite Victorian Valentine cards in my collection.

Dress Clips and Duettes in the National Post

A wonderful article on vintage dress clips appeared last weekend in the National Post.  It was written by Nathalie Atkinson, a fan of vintage costume jewelry.  We both have a passion for early Deco dress clips.  Duettes are pins that can also be worn as two dress clips; they are among my favourite examples of this period that we hope will come back in fashion.  They are versatile and create a unique fashion statement.  Here are a few of my favourites:
