I am constantly asked who my favorite vintage designers are. I love different designers for different reasons. I must say that I cannot refuse an unusual Henry Schreiner, any Coppolo e Toppo's, and Hobe's early filigree jewels. I would love to hear who your favorite designers are and why.

My favourite is Miriam Haskell. After I spent a lot of time inventing and trying, I managed to make up a way to use rhinestones without soldering. So I can connect all components with wire. And just when I was thrilled I got it, I discovered Miriam Haskell... whos jewelry is made the same way. I guess it's a story of my life that after I think I made up some idea by myself, I always find it elswhere. I don't know why I can't find it before I start inventing.

But I love the Haskell style, the romantic and tiny details, rhinestones mixed with baroque pearls and seedbeads... and the fact that I know how difficult it is to assemble.
