Midnight in Paris

I just saw Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris. It was fabulous - the best in years. Makes you want to hop on the next plane to Paris, not to mention wanting to take Owen Wilson as your escort!!!






And, as a side note, the mesh purse that stole the show in several scenes is just like one that that we have!

Connecting Cloth, Culture and Art

Last night I did a fundraising lecture for the Textile Museum of Canada. The topic: Jewelry Trends Through The Decades. We had a slide show which wowed the audience! There was a great buzz and high energy level throughout the evening. Collectors, artisans and novices alike all connected. We finished off with a small sale and exhibition of the collection, which went over very well. Overall it was a great experience and I was so glad to support the great programs at the Textile Museum.
