Burn with Desire: Photography and Glamour Exhibition at Ryerson Image Centre

posted on: Thursday, January 22, 2015

I am happy to be collaborating with the Ryerson Image Centre in an exhibition titled Burn with Desire curated by GaĆ«lle Morel. The exhibition features iconic glamour and fashion photographs since the 1920 by influential photographers such as Edward Steichen and Annie Leibovitz. The first room of the exhibition is devoted to Marilyn Manroe. We presented a small selection of Fabulous Fakes from the 50's and early 60's which will remain for the duration of the exhibition.

I invite you to join us for a special sale of vintage jewelry from our collection on Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at 12-4pm and 5-8pm. 25% of the proceeds from the sale will support future initiatives at the Ryerson Image Centre.

At 6pm, I will talk about my collection of vintage costume jewelry in conjunction with the exhibition.

Hope to see you there!

Stay Fabulous,
Carole

As another gems architect who turn its affection for adornments for something more I know how hard it could be to be perceived or simply increased in value.
