What is it with purple?

Perhaps the most sought after color in vintage costume jewelry this year is purple. I'm happy, because I have always been a purple freak! And Then There's Green

I have always loved the variations in the Green color family. Chartreuse, peridot, sea foam, emerald. We would love to see a renewed popularity in this accent color. Whenever I see a great piece of VCJ (Vintage Costume Jewelry) in a beautiful shade of green, I grab it! Vogue, schmogue, it's a statement color!
